Services & scope
What services does NEK GROUP offer?
Our work spans 10 areas: IT services, networks and internet, cloud and hosting, web and mobile development, cybersecurity, telecommunications, video surveillance and access control, consulting and digital transformation, equipment supply, and a range of additional services (project management, digital branding, fintech, artificial intelligence). That is 37 services in total, each described on the Services page.
Do we need to be a large company to work with you?
No. We work just as readily with small organisations equipping their first workstations as with those running an established infrastructure that needs to evolve. The scope is defined with you during the first conversation, based on what you actually need rather than a fixed catalogue.
Can you take over an existing infrastructure?
Yes. We begin with an audit: an inventory of equipment, a map of the network, and a review of configurations and backups. That diagnosis tells us what is working, what needs securing and what deserves replacing, before any work starts.
Do you supply the equipment as well?
Yes. We supply computers, servers, printers, UPS units and network equipment (switches, routers, access points) from professional brands, with manufacturer warranty. Installation, commissioning and removal of old equipment are part of the service.
Quotes & pricing
How do I get a quote?
Through the form on the Contact page, by WhatsApp or by phone. Describe your need in a few lines: we come back to you to frame the project, then draw up a costed proposal suited to your situation.
Is the first conversation chargeable?
No. The first conversation and the initial audit of your information system are free and without obligation. They exist so we can understand your context and tell you frankly what matters most — even if that does not lead to work right away.
How is your pricing calculated?
Every quote is built for the specific job, based on the scope, the number of workstations or sites involved, the equipment required and the level of support you want. We always itemise the costs so you know exactly what you are paying for.
Response & timelines
Where do you operate?
We are based in Yaoundé, Cameroon, and work on site across the city and the surrounding area. For other regions, travel is arranged according to the project; a large part of maintenance and monitoring work is handled remotely in any case.
What are your opening hours?
Our team is reachable Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm. Requests received outside those hours are handled when we reopen. For critical infrastructure, extended availability can be arranged as part of a maintenance contract.
How quickly do you respond to an enquiry?
We generally reply within 24 working hours to enquiries sent through the form or by email. For an immediate answer, WhatsApp and the phone remain the fastest routes.
Do you work on site or remotely?
Both. Software troubleshooting, configuration and monitoring are most often handled remotely, which shortens response times. Cabling, equipment installation, video surveillance and physical faults call for a visit.
Aftercare & support
Do you handle maintenance after delivery?
Yes. Maintenance is core to what we do: preventive monitoring of equipment, bug fixes, security updates and improvements to the websites and applications we build. It can be arranged case by case or through an ongoing support contract.
Do you train our teams to use the tools you put in place?
Yes. Every deployment includes onboarding for the people who will use it. We also offer dedicated training — office suites, collaboration tools, business software — along with cybersecurity awareness sessions, in person or online.
What happens in the event of a failure or security incident?
You reach us by phone or WhatsApp for priority handling. We establish a diagnosis, tell you what protective measures to take immediately, then intervene remotely or on site depending on the nature of the incident.
Does my data remain confidential?
Yes. The access you grant us is limited to what the work requires, and is handed back or revoked once it is finished. The backups and configurations we put in place belong to you: you keep full control of them.
Need advice before you decide?
Our experts review your situation and point you in the right direction, with no obligation.
